Pensamos en el nombre "muchas manos" por el viejo dicho: "Muchas manos hacen el trabajo ligero".

Todo se siente especialmente pesado en este momento. Y aunque hay mucho que está fuera de nuestro control individual, juntas y juntos tenemos el poder de aliviar un poco la carga—sobre todo para quienes llevan los pesos más duros del miedo, la crueldad y la injusticia. Los pequeños actos de cuidado pueden llegar muy lejos.

Welcome! We are a group of parents in the Burien, WA area who came together around a kitchen table, and after hearing about some of the needs of our immigrant neighbors first-hand, we came away determined to take action. 

We thought of the name "muchas manos" because of that old saying, "Many hands make light work."

Everything feels especially heavy right now. And while so much is beyond our individual control, together, we have the power to ease the weight—especially for those carrying the heaviest burdens of fear, cruelty, and injustice. Small acts of care can go a long way.
